Project South Africa Encouragement

God has South Africa on His mind and has for quite some time. I got a message this week from someone and it was such an encouragement that I want to share it with the family. :)
Pastor Corinne

No deliveries yet on our stuff for South Africa, but wanted to share with you something God showed me Saturday afternoon. Years ago I had a dream that I had given birth to black twins, I was puzzled, but full of joy. A few nights later, I awoke with the sensation of nursing the same twins. Mainly because of this I went to the class on prophecy at the start of the School of the Spirit. A person there said that usually in prophecy twins mean a double blessing, and giving birth (maybe beginning a ministry). She asked if I taught black children or anything....no. Over the years since, I feel the dream has been fulfilled with the sewing group at the church that I help lead taking two different avenues, but related. But Saturday, I was thanking God for letting this come to pass, and I asked him, "But why were they black?" still puzzled after all this time. He spoke to my spirit & said..."What about South Africa"? So I feel this is truly from the Lord and that is why my spirit was so excited when you spoke about your plans. Don't know where else this will lead, but very excited to serve a living God.

We are proud of you!

We are so proud of Ella Hayes and Natalie Clingan who did a dance recently at Riverhill School. They worshipped the Lord to "Oh How We Want Your to Come" by Misty Edwards. Great job girls. It was a sweet fragrance to Him.

Internet safety

We find ourselves in a new and wonderful age of technology with LOTS of great information at our fingertips. Unfortunately, this same opportunity provides an opportunity for the enemy. Children are curious and innocent. Through the Internet, they can stumble on all sorts of things they don't need to see. As parents, we need to do all we can to protect them. Below is a list of just a few filters that you can install on your computer at home. Don't delay, protect your computers today!

kidzui.com - a fun web browser with filters built in. Children love it and parents receive emails of the sites visited by the child.
mcgruffbrowser.com - another free browser with filters similar to Kidzui

Attention Coaches

Summer Kidz Kamp last year was a huge success and lots of fun!
We taught athletic, science, and art clinics, sang, ate, worshipped, and heard from God's Word.
We would like to offer the same again this year, given enough help. If you are intersted in volunteering, please meet with us in the parlor after the service on Sunday, March 28. The meeting will be very brief.

Attention Preschoolers

Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:00 p.m. there is a special class for preschoolers (ages 4 &5).

Starting January 13 the curriculum, Preschoolers in His Presence by Becky Fischer, begins. This will teach, train, and equip children to do the works of Jesus and release them in their spiritual giftings and callings. The goal is to help boys and girls to find an active place in all areas of ministry and to inspire them to become functioning members of the body of Christ while they are young. Those areas include evangelism, missions, the gifts of the Spirit, worship, prayer, healing the sick and more. Children are fully capable of participating in the gospel when these things are taught simply and on their level of understanding.
